UBoats on the River Foyle

Today’s radio report that they may have discovered a sonar image of a German UBoat on the river bed, has drawn attention to these photos of surrendered UBoats at Lisahally near Derry after the war.

The reports mention that they were later scuttled in the Atlantic off the coast of Donegal
